Marijuana Weed Facts Campaign
Weed Facts is a harm reduction campaign that emphasizes safe storage, dangers associated with driving under the influence of marijuana, and risks of adolescent use and use of marijuana while pregnant or breastfeeding.
The campaign, funded by the state’s Medical Marihuana Operation and Oversight grant, comes at a critical time in Michigan. A series of focus groups in Barry and Eaton counties confirmed the need for consistent, factual information regarding marijuana use.
Marijuana use can lead to the development of use that interferes with daily life, known as a marijuana use disorder. Contact the following resources in your county for assessment and treatment resources:
