Barry-Eaton District Health Department Releases Fiscal Year 25 Annual Report

The Barry-Eaton District Health Department (BEDHD) is proud to announce the release of its Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Annual Report. The report highlights the programs, partnerships, and services that supported the health and well-being of residents across Barry and Eaton counties over the past year. 

The report gives community members a closer look at the many ways public health affects everyday life. This includes protecting against disease outbreaks, supporting healthy families, improving mental health, preparing for emergencies, protecting environmental health, and helping residents get the care and support they need. 

“This report reflects the work happening every day across our district to support healthier communities,” said Rebekah Condon, Health Officer for BEDHD. “Behind every program, service, and statistic are real people, families, and communities. We are proud of the partnerships and progress highlighted in this report and grateful to everyone who helps make this work possible.” 

The FY25 Annual Report includes: 

  • Major accomplishments from the past year 
  • Community health data and local trends 
  • Stories and highlights from programs and partnerships 
  • Information about services provided across the district 
  • Progress toward local public health goals 

Throughout FY25, BEDHD continued to respond to changing community needs while expanding education, outreach, prevention, and support services across the district. 

Many people only think about public health during emergencies, but public health work happens every day. The annual report highlights the many programs and services that help protect and improve community health across Barry and Eaton counties. 

Community members, partners, and local organizations are encouraged to explore the report and learn more about the impact of public health efforts throughout the district.
